Virtual Education Has Arrived in the Lone Star State

That’s right! Calvert Education Services and Texarkana ISD Virtual Academy (TxkVA) are teaming up to bring residents of the lone star state the best in virtual education. TxkVA, a Texas virtual school program, offers Texas students in grades 3 – 6 the Calvert School curriculum tuition-free.

The education of your student is one of the most important decisions you will make, and as a Texas parent you now have more options to choose from.

Virtual education gives parents the ability to get more involved in the academic and social environment of their children. Parents can educate their students from the comfort of their own homes. Students will be free to learn and grow in a positive and supportive environment.

TxkVA offers flexibility without compromising academic excellence. The Calvert School curriculum features comprehensive research-based lesson plans focused on subject integration and developed by highly qualified teachers and educators. These lessons are rigorously and continually evaluated to ensure that all national and state standards are met.

At Texarkana ISD Virtual Academy, students will participate in both online and offline course work using web-based tools, textbooks, workbooks, and supplies. A parent or guardian serves as the Learning Guide, offering assistance, verifying work, and serving as liaison with the TxkVA education support staff.

Calvert School is happy to extend this option to Texas residents. To learn more about TxkVA, request more information or call one of our enrollment counselors today at (888) 361-2635.
