You have the power to change your child’s future.

I saw it again today at our community pool. The shrug. The response to a parent who complains about the sorry state of public education, and the parent who responds with the shrug “whadaya gonna do?” I am proud to be one of those parents who has chosen to row against the tide, and take control of my children’s education. If I am capable of raising my children, I am capable of educating them.

Entering my 18th year of homeschooling, I now have cultivated a rather radical point of view that goes something like this: I am going to educate my children to the best of THEIR ability, and I am going to use the best tools possible to do it. In my opinion, and that of at least 600,000 Calvert educated kids over the last 100 years, Calvert is the best way to “educate the whole child”. How comforting it is to a new family, beginning their homeschooling pursuits, to know that they indeed have the power to change their child’s future by choosing the Calvert path.

Changing your child’s future is now more important than ever – and the Calvert staff stands ready to help you do it! How exciting it is that you can do it and save money in the process. Take control. Join us at Calvert!!

Awesome. I couldn’t change the future of my 3 older children, but I am leading my 3 younger ones in a different positive path. My public education here is in shambles, therefore this Mom stopped following the pact and broke free from what is suppose to be the normal thing to do, public education. Calvert is wonderful, structured, flexible and best of all, a challenging curriculum.
